With only 50 days to go until its grand opening, the Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre is now taking guest bookings via its website. Over 500 people have been involved in the 40-month build and Liverpool-based operator Centre Island has invested more than £32m in the ten floor hotel, which sees the Crowne Plaza brand return to central Manchester after a four-year absence.

It boasts 228 contemporary and spacious bedrooms. Those looking for a little extra luxury and exclusive lounge access will head to the top floor where they will find 24 Club rooms and a Plaza Suite that come with Club Lounge areas.
