Welcome 2012 & Congratulations to Darren!

Well the Christmas trees have been taken down, mince pies have all been eaten, the parties are over and our corporate guests have all started to arrive. So it seems to be back to normal here at the Crowne Plaza!

We are kick starting the New Year with a fresh look at the menu options in the hotel. We very recently launched a brand new menu in the Glasshouse Restaurant and the feedback we have had up to now has been fantastic. The delicious baked fillet of pork and delectable fillet of sea bass are firm favourites already!

The changes are all thanks to the recent promotion of Darren Hamilton as Executive Head Chef. Darren has been really looking forward to changing the menu to reflect the creative fusion food he enjoys cooking. Darren began as a chef at the age of sixteen and before coming to the Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre he worked as a personal chef in a bespoke catering company for VIPs and VIP events. The next challenge for Darren will be the unveiling of the much anticipated new room service menu. The menu will have lots of tasty options including healthy choices ideal for those with good intentions for new year.
