MEET OUR NEW OPERATIONS MANAGER

Welcome to the hotel our new Operations Manager Claudio Ribeiro. Claudio joins the Crowne Plaza Manchester City Centre after working for Mercure and is originally from Portugal. He has lots of experience in Food and Beverage Management and is excited to get involved in the Glasshouse Bar and Restaurant. Along with our new Head Chef Darren, you will start to see lots more new and exciting changes in our stylish Glasshouse.

Claudio loves the modern decor of the hotel including state-of-the-art conference and banqueting facilities and sleek boardrooms.

He enjoys working in the hospitality industry because he likes meeting lots of new and different people. He likes keeping busy and the fast paced environment of hotels is perfectly suited to him.

Claudio's favourite tipple in the Glasshouse bar is a freshly made Mojito cocktail! So if you’re in the Crowne Plaza anytime soon you may see Claudio around.

VALENTINES DAY IS LESS THAN 4 WEEKS AWAY!!!

Were just putting the finishing touches to our 2012 Valentines packages. As well as offering the usually romantic dinner in Glasshouse Restaurant, we will also be putting together an overnight package which will include dinner, an overnight stay in one of our luxurious bedrooms along with a single red rose and chocolates for your loved one. Most of you will be happy to know it will be available for 5 days so you can celebrate in style and not have to worry about getting up for work in the morning.
